INDIAN CURRENCY

After independence, new designs were introduced to remove the portrait of the King. The government continued to issue the 1 rupee note, while the Reserve Bank issued other denominations, including the 5000 and 10,000 rupee notes introduced in 1949. In the 1970s, 20 and 50 rupee notes were introduced but denominations higher than 100 rupees were demonetized in 1978. In 1987, the 500 rupee note was reintroduced, followed by the 1000 rupees in 2000. compiler software

ALL DIFFERENT TYPES OF COMPILER: 1.python Python is a dynamic object-oriented programming language that can be used for many kinds of software development. It offers strong support for integration with other languages and tools, comes with extensive standard libraries, and can be learned in a few days. Many Python programmers report substantial productivity gains and feel the language encourages the development of higher quality, more maintainable code. Python runs on Windows, Linux/Unix, Mac OS X, OS/2, Amiga, Palm Handhelds, and Nokia mobile phones. Python has also been ported to the Java and .NET virtual machines. Python is distributed under an OSI-approved open source license that makes it free to use, even for commercial products. click here to download 2.MySQL MySQL Community Edition is a freely downloadable version of the world's most popular open source database that is supported by an active community of open source developers and enthusiasts. cd rom

CD-ROM Drive Construction and Operation In terms of construction and basic components, CD-ROMs are rather similar in most regards to other storage devices that use circular, spinning media, which isn't that much of a surprise. The big difference of course is the way the information is recorded on the media, and the way that it is read from the media as well. This section takes a look at the basics of how CD-ROM drives are constructed and how they work. Optical "Head" Assembly The middle two letters in "CD-ROM" stand for "read only", so it shouldn't be any surprise that standard CD-ROM drives are read only devices, and cannot be written to. (Newer variants of CD-ROMs, CD-R and CD-RW drives, break this long-standing rule of this type of device.) Most people know this anyway because CD-ROMs use the same basic technologies that CD audio players have for many years, and everyone knows that these devices can only play back, not record. The reaso...

FIREWIRE(IEEE 1394)

Firewire, also known as IEEE 1394 and i.Link, is a high speed serial bus developed by Texas Instruments and Apple computers in the mid 1990s. Firewire is compatible with more than 63 electronic and digital devices, which makes it a great choice for many people. Technically speaking, Firewire is a PC serial bus interface standard that offers isochronous data services and high-speed communications between digital devices. Basically, Firewire facilitates faster data transfer rates and usability across multiple devices. Firewire is similar to Universal Serial Bus (USB), but it has a higher data transfer capacity - up to 800 Mbps, compared to the USB's 480 Mbps. This makes it ideal for peripherals that require high-speed data transfer, such as digital camcorders, DVD players and digital audio equipment. Features of firewire FireWire can connect up to 63 devices together, and allows peer-to-peer connectivity (i.e., between a camera and printer). It also uses isochronous real time data se...

VOIP

INTRODUCTION Voip (Voice over Internet Protocol) is simply the transmission of voice traffic over IP-based networks. The Internet Protocol (IP) was originally designed for data networking. The success of IP in becoming a world standard for data networking has led to its adaption to voice networking. VoIP Telephones There are three methods of connecting to a VoIP network: Using a VoIP telephone Using a "normal" telephone with a VoIP adapter Using a computer with speakers and a microphone Types of VoIP Calls VoIP telephone calls can be placed either to other VoIP devices, or to normal telephones on the PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network). Calls from a VoIP device to a PSTN device are commonly called "PC-to-Phone" calls, even though the VoIP device may not be a PC. Calls from a VoIP device to another VoIP device are commonly called "PC-to-PC" calls, even though neither device may be a PC. How Does it Work? The most common way VoIP works is that the end u...

INDIA IN WORLD

The Republic of India is the world's most-populous democracy and has one of the fastest economic growth rates in the world ( 8.9 percent GDP increase in 2007, the second-fastest major economy in the world after China). With the world's fourth largest armed forces , and twelfth largest economy by market-exchange rates, it is considered to be a regional power and a potential superpower . It is India's growing international influence that increasingly gives it a more prominent voice in global affairs. After India gained independence from the United Kingdom in 1947, it soon joined the Commonwealth of Nations and strongly supported independence movements in other colonies , like the Indonesian National Revolution . A nuclear bomb test in 1974 made India the first confirmed nuclear state outside the United Nations Security Council . What is notable about the foreign relations of India is that it maintains good relationships with both Russia and United States at the sam...

DEFLATION

WHAT IS DEFLATION? In economics , deflation is a sustained decrease in the general price level of goods and services. Deflation occurs when the annual inflation rate falls below zero percent, resulting in an increase in the real value of money — a negative inflation rate . This should not be confused with disinflation , a slow-down in the inflation rate (i.e. when the inflation decreases, but still remains positive). Inflation reduces the real value of money over time, conversely, deflation increases the real value of money. Most economists believe that deflation is a problem in a modern economy because of the danger of a deflationary spiral . Deflation is also linked with recessions and with the Great Depression . Additionally, deflation also prevents monetary policy from stabilizing the economy because of a mechanism called the liquidity trap . However, historically not all episodes of deflation correspond with periods of poor economic growth. ...

knowledge

Knowledge is defined in the Oxford English Dictionary as (i) expertise, and skills acquired by a person through experience or education; the theoretical or practical understanding of a subject, (ii) what is known in a particular field or in total; facts and information or (iii) awareness or familiarity gained by experience of a fact or situation. Philosophical debates in general start with Plato's formulation of knowledge as "justified true belief". There is however no single agreed definition of knowledge presently, nor any prospect of one, and there remain numerous competing theories. Knowledge acquisition involves complex cognitive processes: perception, learning, communication, association and reasoning . The term knowledge is also used to mean the confident understanding of a subject with the ability to use it for a specific purpose if appropriate. See Knowledge Management for additional details on that discipline.
